To embed accessibility into design, I clarified the difference between Inclusive and Accessible Design and aligned with practice leads across disciplines on their roles.

Challenge: Embed Accessibility into Design
Approach: First, I defined what the difference was between Inclusive Design and Accessible Design. Then I worked with the practice leads for Design Research, Design Strategy, Content Design, Visual Design and Interaction Design to better understand the roles and responsibilities of their practices.
From there, I co-created the Accessibility & Inclusive Design Guild and worked with the design systems team to develop accessible components at scale, along with comprehensive toolkits and resources for design and development teams across the enterprise.
